For UK construction subcontractors
Know every payment deadline. Get the sum you're owed.
Under the Construction Act, a missed payment or pay less notice can mean your application becomes the sum that must be paid. NotifiedSum works out every date, sends your applications and tells you when the payer runs out of time.

Estimate only, not legal advice. Your contract's terms and how notices were served can change the answer.
What you get
Built around how payment actually works on site.
Every deadline, worked out
Due date, payment notice, pay less notice and final date for payment for every application, using your contract's terms or the Scheme. Bank holidays are excluded the way the Act says.
Applications that look the part
Branded payment applications as PDFs with your logo, gross value, retention and previous payments laid out clearly, numbered and dated.
Reminders before it matters
An email when the payer's payment notice deadline passes with nothing received, before the final date for payment, and when retention falls due.
Retention you won't forget
Each contract's retention, both release dates and what's still held, so the second half doesn't quietly vanish.
A clean record
Notices received, amounts and dates paid, all against the application, so you can show exactly what happened if it comes to adjudication.
Escalate when they don't pay
Pass an overdue sum straight to LatePay UK to chase it with the statutory interest and compensation you're owed.
Why it matters
The notified sum rule, in one paragraph.
If you send a valid application and the payer doesn't give a payment notice in time, your application can stand in its place. If they then want to pay less, they need a valid pay less notice before the deadline, stating what they think is due and how it was worked out. Miss both and, in many cases, the sum you applied for has to be paid by the final date for payment. The Court of Appeal called it "pay now, argue later" (S&T v Grove, 2018).
This depends on your contract, your application being valid and properly served. NotifiedSum tracks the dates; it can't judge validity.
